The AI Operations Audit
A two-week, fixed-scope diagnostic of your operations. We map your workflows, score your AI readiness, and deliver a prioritized roadmap — including quick wins your team can act on immediately. It's the lowest-risk way to find out what AI is actually worth to your organization.
What is an AI Operations Audit? It is a structured, two-week assessment of how work flows through your organization — documents, approvals, data entry, reporting, and hand-offs between systems. Olyra interviews your team, reviews your workflows and systems, and produces an AI Opportunity Map: a prioritized list of where AI and automation will deliver measurable value, what each opportunity requires, and a 120-day implementation roadmap. It is designed for executives who need a factual basis for AI decisions before committing to tools or vendors.
What you walk away with
AI Opportunity Map
Every significant workflow scored by impact, effort, and risk — so you know what to do first and what to ignore.
Workflow & Systems Assessment
How work actually moves through your teams, where it stalls, and which systems can support AI today.
Governance & Readiness Review
Data boundaries, security posture, policy gaps, and the guardrails you need before anything goes live.
120-Day Implementation Roadmap
A phased plan on the Olyra 120 method — quick wins first, structured around your team's capacity.
Executive Briefing
A working session with your leadership team: findings, numbers, recommendations, and honest answers.
No surprises
Fixed fee agreed before we start. No change orders. No obligation to implement with us afterward.
How the audit runs
Scoping call
We confirm fit, agree the scope — which departments, workflows, and systems — and schedule the work. Fixed scope, fixed fee, agreed before we start.
Discovery
Structured interviews with the people who do the work, workflow walk-throughs, and a guided review of your systems and data. Most clients spend 6–10 total staff hours.
Findings & roadmap briefing
You get the Opportunity Map, readiness review, and 120-day roadmap — presented live, with the reasoning behind every recommendation.
Built for organizations with real operational complexity
A strong fit if you have:
- A mid-market organization — roughly 50–1,000 employees, or smaller with real operational complexity
- Multiple departments, locations, or entities
- Heavy document, form, invoice, or email volume
- Leadership accountable for an AI decision this year
Not the right tool if you want:
- A generic "which AI tool should I buy" recommendation
- A pilot without owning the outcome
- An assessment without letting us talk to the people doing the work
After the audit
Most clients move into the Olyra 120: we implement the roadmap's first phase, starting with the quick wins identified in the audit. Some take the roadmap and execute internally — that's a fine outcome too. There is no obligation to continue, and the roadmap is written so any competent team can act on it.
Audit FAQ
What exactly is the AI Operations Audit?
A fixed-scope, two-week diagnostic of how work flows through your organization. We interview the people doing the work, map workflows and systems, review data readiness and governance gaps, and deliver an AI Opportunity Map — every significant opportunity scored by impact, effort, and risk — plus a 120-day implementation roadmap with quick wins identified. It's designed to give executives a factual basis for AI decisions before any spend on tools or vendors.
How much time will the audit take from my team?
Typically 6–10 total staff hours across two weeks: a leadership kickoff, short structured interviews with workflow owners and the people doing the work, and a guided systems walkthrough with whoever knows your data. We schedule around your operation and consolidate sessions where possible. The deliberate design goal is maximum insight per hour of your team's time — disruption during discovery would contaminate the very baselines we're measuring.
What does the audit cost?
It's a fixed fee, agreed on the scoping call before any work begins — the price depends on organization size and how many departments and workflows are in scope. There are no change orders and no obligation to continue afterward. Most clients treat it as a self-contained purchase: the roadmap is written to be executable by us, by your internal team, or by another partner.
What if the audit finds AI isn't worth it for us?
Then that's what the report says. Part of the audit's value is the ranked "not now" list: opportunities that look attractive but fail on data readiness, risk, or economics. If nothing clears the bar, you'll know why, what would have to change, and what non-AI improvements (process fixes, integrations) would pay off instead. An honest no protects you from the expensive maybe — and it's why the audit is priced as a product, not a sales call.
Do we have to implement with Olyra afterward?
No. The roadmap is deliberately written so any competent team can execute it — with named workflows, systems, sequence, and success measures. Some clients implement internally; some engage us for the first Olyra 120 cycle; some do a mix, keeping us on the complex integrations. Phase boundaries in the method are clean handoff points, so you can change approach between phases without losing work.
How is this different from a free AI consultation?
A free consultation is a sales conversation; the audit is diagnostic work with deliverables. We put real hours into interviews, workflow mapping, systems review, and value modeling — and you receive artifacts (Opportunity Map, readiness review, roadmap) that survive contact with your CFO. Free advice tends to recommend whatever the advisor sells. A fixed-fee diagnostic with no implementation obligation is structurally built to tell you the truth.
